About ME
{In Tulu: Thindi = breakfast/food/meal/snacks}
Hi, and welcome to my word soup of culinary experiences. I am an energy economist by trade based out of Chicago who is increasingly going to great, and some might say, unreasonable lengths, to enjoy a great bite of food. For me, and for loved ones with whom I’ve shared some of the meals documented here, food is a singular source of unbridled joy and pause in a world where everything and everyone is in a race to the next moment. As a result, I often turn to a plate of food in moments of great happiness and sadness, alike.
This site serves as a place for me to document some of my favorite experiences of food beyond the pictures I captured and, perhaps, serve as a resource for those looking to dine at some of these restaurants. I am not a professional food reviewer nor I have ever worked in hospitality. It is not my goal to critique flavors and techniques. With these articles, I simply hope to convey how it felt for me to spend an evening (or afternoon) at these restaurants. For those of you who take a moment to stop by and read any one of these pieces, I thank you.
